Carrick Classic Regatta                                                                   

Dear Skipper, The Northern Ireland Old Gaffers Association, are delighted to invite yourself, your crew and your craft to Carrick Classic Regatta, 6th to 8th June 2008.

Further to the great success of Carrick Classic Regatta 2007, we are hoping to hold a bigger and better Carrick Classic Regatta.  We are running slightly earlier this year, so all the more reason to get your entry in as soon as possible.

We are hoping once again to provide concessionary berthing within Carrickfergus marina and we know they will provide excellent facilities and amenities for all your yachting needs.

We are sure if you are just passing by, or make a special effort to attend this event, you will be assured of the best of craic, and hospitality second to none.

Please note, in order to qualify for registration your vessel must meet the following criteria:

"...Any vessel rigged with either a gaff, or four-sided mainsail; any vessel of traditional wooden construction with a long keel; any vessel over forty years of age..." The 'Carrick Classic Regatta' organising committee maintain the right to de-register, or dis-allow any vessel at any time before, during or after Carrick Classic Regatta.
